Marble and Wood Paper Table Lamp

HIKARI is a handmade table lamp made in high quality, FSC labelled paper using the ancient Japanese paper folding method Origami, designed and carefully created by Tedzukuri Atelier.

Its woody look comes from a new exotic veneer made from banana plant trunks!

That’s right! No deforestation! In fact, because the banana plant is a giant grass and not a tree it grows to full size every 9 months and once the bananas had been harvested the mother trunk naturally decomposes. Now a French company recycles the banana plant trunks and gives it a second life transforming it in a beautiful veneer!

And Tedzukuri Atelier transforms this incredible new material in beautiful lampshades! Everything done by hand, with lots of love and care as usual!

You will receive HIKARI already mounted and ready to use, with a cord and instructions.

The table lamp is designed to be used with an energy-saving light-bulb or LED light-bulb. Bulb not included.


AFTER INSTALLATION
Our origami lamps are easy to clean. You can use a feather duster or compressed air but from at least 30cm away.
